Multisensory Experiences: Where the Senses Meet Technology

Multisensory experiences, that is, experiences involve more than one of our senses, are part everyday life. We often tend to take them for granted, at least when different senses function normally (normal sight functioning) or corrected-to-normal (using glasses). However, closer inspection any, even the most mundane reveals remarkable sensory world in which we live in. While have built tools, and computing systems played human advantages hearing (e.g., signage, modes communication, visual musical arts, theatre, cinema media), long neglected opportunities around touch, taste, smell as interface/interaction modalities. Within this keynote I will share my vision future computing/HCI what role can play it.
